Physiotherapist
Mr Yusuf Elmetwally
Yusuf is an experienced physiotherapist with over 14 years of clinical experience across Australia and Egypt. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, together with postgraduate Diplomas in Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy, Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, and Sports Rehabilitation.
Committed to lifelong learning, Yusuf has completed more than 40 professional development courses inside and outside Australia, workshops, and conferences, continually refining his clinical skills and ensuring his practice reflects the latest evidence-based approaches.
Yusuf has a strong passion for the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the spine and all peripheral joints.
He has a particular interest in hands-on manual therapy, integrating joint mobilisation and manipulation, soft tissue techniques, myofascial release, movement retraining, and individually tailored exercise rehabilitation to restore function, reduce pain, and optimise recovery.
Rather than focusing solely on the site of pain, Yusuf adopts a holistic, evidence-informed approach, carefully analysing movement patterns, biomechanics, posture, and the body's interconnected kinetic chain to identify and address the underlying cause of dysfunction. His goal is to deliver meaningful, long-lasting outcomes while helping patients regain confidence in movement and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Known for his compassionate, patient centred care, Yusuf builds strong therapeutic relationships and believes that education and collaboration are fundamental to successful rehabilitation. He works closely with each patient to develop personalised treatment plans that empower them to take an active role in their recovery.
Outside the clinic, Yusuf enjoys singing, composing music, drawing, and writing poetry. His creative perspective enhances his observational skills, communication, and empathy, allowing him to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds and provide care that is both highly skilled and genuinely personal.
